Karen is an Independently Licensed Social Worker with over 30 years in professional practice. She completed her graduate degree in Non-Profit Management from Case Western Reserve University with a specialization in Child and Family. She currently oversees the Youth Led Prevention and Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) programs for ESC, and is also the school social worker at Geauga Youth Center residential facility. Kathy has over 27 years of experience delivering social work services in the schools. She has been with GCESC for the past 10 years. Kathy has been a member of the Lake-Geauga Training Committee for the past 13 years and provides professional development & training in the following areas: drug and alcohol prevention, therapeutic interviewing, paraprofessional skills, group facilitation, and parenting. Donna Fischer is a licensed counselor who received her masters in Art Therapy Counseling from Ursuline College. She is currently seeking her independent clinical license and Trauma Informed Care Certification. She has been working with children and families for 10 years.
